Invited last-minute by Vince Gill to perform Buck Owens’ Together Again, Noah traded flawless pedal steel solos with steel legend Tommy White, proving his ability to shine across country, new wave, and beyond.

Great Collaborator: Noah’s versatility shines in collaborations across genres. He joined Modest Mouse onstage at Circuit of the Americas (2024), delivering searing pedal steel riffs. In 2025, he performed with Alejandro Escovedo, weaving his signature sound into Escovedo’s roots-rock. They’re a feel good balm - people are tuning in to watch how Noah recontextualizes the shoe gaze haze of My Bloody Valentine, or the inkiest bits of Sisters of Mercy’s goth, with tone-bending pedal work that slips through the chicken wire in your local country bar.
-
The trick that keeps Pedal Steel Noah from descending into either nostalgia or irony is how he favors textures and mood over melody. There’s enough of a recognizable hook to satiate an audience, but the band prefers to lay back, finding different ways to explore the moods lurking within a well-known tune.

He turns Joy Division’s emotionally strident Love Will Tear Us Apart into a day-dreamy road trip through the Texas hill country.
