About PSN

Pedal Steel Noah is an 18-year-old Austin-based pedal steel guitarist and rising artist whose innovative approach has drawn praise from peers and legends alike. Starting with daily social media videos that reimagined post-punk, new wave, and alternative anthems through the emotive voice of the pedal steel, Noah quickly built a following of over 80,000 and attracted support from artists including Frank Black, Peter Hook, Johnny Marr, Neko Case, and members of R.E.M. and Modest Mouse.

His 2024 debut EP Texas Madness (Lightning Rod Records) featured both original songs and distinctive covers, earning coverage in The New York Times, Texas Monthly, Guitar World, and Austin Chronicle. In August 2024 he made his Grand Ole Opry debut, delivering a flawless performance of Buck Owens’ “Together Again” after being invited onstage by Vince Gill and earning a standing ovation. He has since performed at multiple SXSWs and shared stages with Modest Mouse, The Polyphonic Spree, Blitzen Trapper, Broken Social Scene, and Alejandro Escovedo.

Now focused on original material and full-band performances with his family band (brother Nate on bass, father on guitar), Pedal Steel Noah brings rare technical skill, emotional depth, and a fresh Texas perspective to the pedal steel tradition.
